Target Audience
This activity is intended for allergists, primary care physicians, emergency department physicians, physician assistants, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals who may encounter patient with hereditary angioedema.

Educational Goal
The goal of this activity is to increase the awareness as well as the understanding of hereditary angioedema by having the clinician virtually manage a patient with undiagnosed HAE 1) who presents to the emergency department with an acute facial swelling, and 2) in the follow-up of the patient once discharged from the hospital.

Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of CMEsolutions and CE Symmetry. The CMEsolutions is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Participation Requirements

  1. Complete all online activities
  2. Complete evaluation, credit request form, and download or print credit statement
  3. CMEsolutions will upload credit completion information to the CPE Monitor within six weeks following the activity. The CPE Monitor System will direct electronic data submitted by ACPE-accredited providers to ACPE and to NABP, ensuring that CPE credit is officially verified by providers. Once information is received by NABP, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be able to log in and access information about completed CPE activities.
